advertText:<p>37 hours per week<br />Permanent<br /><br />The Access and Attendance Service is a busy team supporting the local authority’s statutory duties in relation to school attendance, elective home education, exclusions and children missing education. A new post has been created to provide dedicated support to the specialist team across the range of business activities but mainly to support the legal monitoring process for non-school attendance. <br /><br />We are looking for an experienced administrator who will be confident speaking to schools and parents on the telephone to explain complex education related information. The role will involve supporting the service in undertaking home visits with parents and parent/carer interviews. You will liaise with, support and challenge schools regarding the provision of child specific information to inform the statutory processes.
