An exciting opportunity has arisen within Adult Services to work with existing service users and carers to promote independence and build on people’s strengths.
These are new roles and will involve assessing and reviewing people’s needs therefore knowledge of the Care Act is essential. You will also need to have experience of working with people, carers, and other professionals in a health or social care related field. Prevention is key in this role and you should have good knowledge of navigating support within both social care and voluntary organisations.
We provide a full induction and lots of training opportunities for career development.
We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is working in regulated activity. If you are successful we will undertake additional recruitment checks which will include a check to see if you have had any criminal convictions, a check of police information and we will check the barred list(s).
