N4 salary - £18,795 - £19,945 per annum, pro rata
Actual salary - £13,909 - £14,760 per annum

Post 2: 19.5 hours per week, term time only + 3 training days
N4 salary - £18,795 - £19,945 per annum, pro rata
Actual salary - £8,345 - £8,856 per annum.

Initially for 1 year fixed term, with the possibility of being extended.

At St Charles’, we are looking for Support Assistants to join our team and provide support for pupils with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting pupils with additional needs, be flexible and committed to providing high quality learning and developing independence in pupils. The post will involve supporting pupils to access their learning as advised in an Education Health Care Plan and following advice from professionals.

The Governors wish to appoint a motivated and passionate teaching Support Assistant who will make a significant contribution to our school. Here, we are all working towards a common goal - a shared vision to provide forward thinking teaching and memorable experiences through the curriculum to prepare our children for life.

All are welcome to apply who will support and actively promote the Catholic ethos of our school. The position will include 1:1 support, delivery of various SEN interventions and may include class support across the school (Nursery to Year 6).

The Governing Body is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We implement all aspects of the safer recruitment process. The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and references.
