Prosper Learning Trust is seeking to appoint an outstanding ICT teacher to join our successful team. Prosper Learning Trust was established in January 2018 with Newcastle Bridges School and Mary Astell Academy. We are striving to further build collaboration across the schools and grow as a Multi Academy Trust, whilst continuing to strengthen our relationships with schools outside the MAT for the benefit of our students.
We are looking to appoint a specialist ICT teacher who is able to demonstrate an ability to teach towards a number of KS4 qualifications. Flexibility and an understanding of the specific needs of our students are essential requirements of the post which may suit a newly qualified teacher or an experienced ICT practitioner looking for a new challenge or experience.
The post will initially be based in the Newcastle Bridges sites of the Trust which was rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted in 2016. Young people are referred to Newcastle Bridges School due to various health needs both mental and physical and are taught in classes, small groups or one to one either in a hospital setting, community buildings or our current base in Benfield School.
The successful candidates will be employed by Prosper Learning Trust and could be expected to work at any Prosper Learning Trust site.
Prosper Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and anyone applying to work within the Trust is expected to share this commitment. This position is subject to a satisfactory fully enhanced DBS check and references being received.
As the post involves working with vulnerable children and dealing with sensitive information, written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage, even if you indicate otherwise
