We are looking to appoint 2 flexible, enthusiastic and reliable Facilities Supervisors to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Good communication and DIY skills are essential.
Caretaking experience in a school would be an advantage.

Proposed working hours:

Week 1 Mon - Fri 6am - 1pm
Week 2 Mon - Fri 11am - 6pm

The 2 successful candidates will work on opposite weekly rotas.

Our Lady & St Anne’s RC School is a vibrant primary school in the West End area of Newcastle and serves a richly diverse community. We are looking to appoint a Facilities Supervisory team to ensure we maintain high standards of cleanliness and repair across our school site.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the security of the premises, setting alarms, driving the school mini buses, general health and safety issues relating to the building, a range of porterage duties as well as the full cleaning of the school building. It is essential that you are capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting and carrying of equipment, materials and furniture and are able to climb ladders.

There will need to be a degree of flexibility around certain key events in the school calendar e.g. parent/ evenings, governing body meetings, Christmas and summer fairs etc. which will be arranged at the start of the academic year. You will be expected to be available to undertake lettings for the school when required.
