Are you:
• a qualified primary teacher?
• able to demonstrate successful and effective teaching?

Can you:
• enthuse and motivate children to learn and progress?
• work effectively as part of a team?

Do you:
• possess excellent subject knowledge, communication and organisational skills?
• have high expectations and aspirations for your learners and ambition for yourself?

For September 2019, we seek a qualified teacher to join our successful team of passionate educators in our school.

We are looking for an inspirational Year 6 teacher who can model and inspire children to love learning, develop independence and a sense of responsibility, who can help to shape our children to be the best they can be.

If you are a passionate teacher, who is creative, ambitious and embraces innovation, then you may be who we are looking for. If you set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils of all abilities and wholly believe in promoting our values and ethos to the wider school community, we would love you to make the choice to join Wingrove Primary School.

Wingrove is a large primary school serving a vibrant and diverse population in Newcastle’s west end. We are strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a range of recruitment checks and to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS.

As this post involves working with children, vulnerable adults or dealing with sensitive information, written references will be taken up and made available to interviewers before the final selection stage; even if you indicate otherwise.

We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers. Visits to the school are encouraged, and by arrangement, with Mrs. Jane Mullarkey (Head Teacher) by ringing 0191 273 5466 or 273 5842.

Application packs can be obtained from the school website (www.wingrove.newcastle.sch.uk), or by sending a large, appropriately stamped, self-addressed envelope to Mrs J Prosperini, Admin Officer, at the above address. Packs can also be sent out electronically, by request to jo.prosperini@wingrove.newcastle.sch.uk (please note, school reopens, after the Easter holiday, on Tuesday 23rd April).

Completed applications should be marked for the attention of the Head Teacher, Mrs Jane Mullarkey, and should be posted or hand delivered (electronic applications will not be accepted).

Closing date for applications: Friday, 26 April, 4pm.
Interviews: Thursday, 9 May 2019.
